In a week of gloominess for Manchester United fans - there may be some good news in the pipeline.

The Red Devils’ new home kit for 2016-17 has been leaked to football merchandise site - Footy Headlines.

United were originally founded as Newton Heath Football Club in 1878, but the club changed it’s name in 1902 and moved to Old Trafford eight years later.

Rather than changing to the full green and gold colours which has now been associated with an anti-Glazer campaign for the past 10 years - they have subtly added it in.

The new kit is set for general sale in June 2016, although there could still be some more tweaks just yet.
